Vickers-Lee, Tobie
Ms. Vickers-Lee
Hello! My name is Tobie Vickers-Lee. I ask students to just refer to me as Ms. Lee.
I am excited to be starting my second year teaching at Washington Technology. I have been teaching visual arts for about 18 years now, and while I have taught at both elementary and middle school levels in the most recent years, I am excited to be working with high school students again. I am married and have two children, and a dog named Juno. I have lived in the Saint Paul Mac-Groveland area of St. Paul, for about 22 years, and I enjoy spending time hanging with my family, running, hiking, gardening, building things with power tools, and playing with anything that pushes my creative outlet. Painting is what I love to do when I find the time. However, I have always been an avid photographer and I continue to enjoy the ability to use technology to enhance visual expression with innovative software tools.
I feel very fortunate to work with highly creative students at Washington who are focused on improving their tech-savvy knowledge and applying it in an expressive way with the use of a camera and the Adobe Photoshop software.
