Michaelis, Krista

Krista Michaelis teaches middle school Language Academy: Reading 1.5 and 2, Geography 1 and History 2.

She received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Secondary Education and French with a certification in English as a Second Language. She has a Master of Arts from Hamline University in English as a Second Language. She has also taught in France and with the Peace Corps in Madagascar.

She lives in Saint Paul with her husband and three kids who all attend Saint Paul Public Schools. She has a beagle named Bella Sparkle. In her freetime she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, camping, kayaking, swimming, biking, skiing and reading.
