Bertrand, Mary Shelly
Shelly Bertrand began teaching at Washington in 2001. She received her B.A. in Chinese and International Relations from the University of Minnesta. She received her M.Ed. in Second Languages and Cultures from the University of Minnesota. She has been teaching ELA9 and World History for Level 2 English Learners. She has also taught in China, Taiwan, and the Czech Republic.
In her free time, She likes to travel, read, cook, watch movies and visit museums.
She lives in Minneapolis with her partner Tim and cat Sophie.
