Staff Profile

Megan Demorest (she/her) has 15 years of experience in public education, serving in multiple roles as teacher, building administrator, instructional coach, and district administrator. Megan is new to SPPS in 2024 after working in Minneapolis Public Schools for many years. She values relationships with students and families and making learning fun and engaging. She currently works in the Language Academy with Level 1 Newcomers at Washington Middle School. In her free time, she likes to play video games, hang out with her husband and cat, and read.
