Chinese 3 is a combined course of the Chinese level 3 in the high school and the beginner Chinese course at the Univeristy of Minnesota.
Chinese 3 is a high school level course. It is a year long course; required a student has completed Chinese 1 and 2 successfully with the average grade in B and above.
CIS Chinese is the beginning Chinese course 1011 of the Department of Modern Language at the University of Minnesota. It is a college course with a college standard. A student who has completed and has passed the year long course will received 6 credit hours from the University of Minnesota and the high school credit as well.
